I stuck a few of my colored pens and a notebook in my bag so that during a recent conference I attended I could doodle or draw or take notes. I ended up doodling during several of the sessions to help me stay grounded as my anxiety reared its ugly head. Some noticed and commented on them. Since coming home a little less than a month ago, I have cut out those doodle notes and I am making them into a collage. I have also be doing other doodles. I have a new-found love for my colored pens and markers. Someone the coloring is soothing. There is no planning or rushing just slow deliberate marks of putting pen to paper and creating.
